Requesting time off is an easy and quick process in the Snappy Staff app. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you request and manage your time off seamlessly.

Step 1: Access the Requests Section

Start by going to the home screen and tapping the “View Requests” button to access the time-off requests section.

Step 2: Create a New Time Off Request

To initiate a new time off request, follow these steps:

2.1 Initiate New Request

Tap on the “New Time Off” button to start creating a new request.

2.2 Set the Dates

Choose and set the start and end dates for your time off using the calendar feature.

2.3 Submit the Request

Once the dates are set, press the “Create” button to submit your request. It will be sent to your manager for approval.

Step 3: Monitor the Status of Your Requests

You can keep track of the status of all your requests directly within the app.

Step 4: Cancelling a Request

If needed, you can cancel a pending request by following these steps:

4.1 Select the Request

Tap on the specific request you wish to cancel.

4.2 Initiate Cancellation

Press the delete icon to initiate the cancellation. Confirm the action by pressing again to successfully cancel the request.

 

Note: Once a request has been approved by your manager, you won’t be able to cancel it directly through the app. However, if necessary, you can ask your manager to cancel it on their end.
