Welcome to the beginning of your streamlined scheduling experience with Snappy Staff. Follow this guide to set up a new company profile seamlessly.

Step 1: Download the App

Start by downloading the Snappy Staff app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Log In

Log in using your preferred method. Based on whether you are a new user or already have an account, follow the appropriate steps below:

For Existing Users

If you already have an account, navigate to the ‘Settings’ menu, where you will find the option to select New company.

For New Users

If you are logging in for the first time, you can choose the I’m A New Company option directly from the welcome splash screen.

Step 3: Getting Started

Click the Get Started button to begin the process of setting up your company profile.

Step 4: Enter Company Details

4.1 Banner Image (Optional)

You have the option to add a banner image, click the ‘Upload logo’ box to choose an image. Selecting an image for your business banner creates a visual association for your employees.

Image Recommendations:

Keep in mind, this image will have a slight transparency and might be slightly trimmed at the top and bottom to fit perfectly. To make sure your company’s logo stands out just the way you want, place it at the center of the image. This way, it will always be visible and looking great, representing your company in the best light!

4.2 Company Name

Enter the name of your company so that your employees will easily identify you in their emails, and within the app itself.

Step 5: Enter Personal Details

5.1 Name and Email

Your name and email will be automatically filled based on the information from your login provider. This information is retrieved from the details you provide when logging in using your preferred method (Google, Facebook, or Apple ID). You may modify these details if needed.

5.2 Profile Picture (Optional)

To further personalize your account, you can set a profile picture.

Image Recommendations:

Choosing a profile picture is an important step in setting up your account. The picture will be displayed as a circle at the center of your profile. To ensure clarity and a professional look, we recommend selecting an image where your face occupies the central portion of the frame. This way, your face will be clearly visible, making your profile more personal and recognizable!

Step 6: Complete Your Profile

6.1 Job Title

Specify your job title. This information will be essential when setting up the rota as it helps in assigning tasks appropriately.

6.2 Contract Type

Choose the contract type that best fits.

Explanation of Different Contract Types:

  • Full-Time - Contracted for full-time hours
  • Part-Time - Contracted for part-time hours
  • Contractor - Not a direct employee of the company
  • Zero-Hours - Contracted with no minimum hours

6.3 Set Working Hours and Availability

Setting up your working hours and day availability is a pivotal step in completing your profile. Here, you can specify your availability on different days, making it a crucial tool for efficient rota planning. Here’s how you can set up and modify your availability:

Toggling Day Availability:

  • Anytime: By default, each day is set to “Anytime”, indicating that you are available throughout the day.
  • Unavailable: To mark a day as unavailable, press on “Anytime”, and it will change to “Unavailable”. Pressing “Unavailable” will toggle it back to “Anytime”

Setting Specific Availability Times:

  • Time Range: To specify available times, press on a day. This will change the status to show a time range (e.g., 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
  • Modifying Time Range: Press on the time range to modify the start time or end time according to your preference. Pressing on the time range again will revert it back to “Anytime”, indicating full day availability.

This toggling functionality provides the flexibility to easily adjust your availability and helps in creating a rota that aligns with your and your team’s schedule.

Step 7: Review and Accept

Before proceeding, review all the information entered on the final screen to ensure accuracy. Once reviewed, accept the terms and conditions, and the privacy policy to finalize the setup process.

Step 8: Welcome to Your New Company Profile

Congratulations! Your new company profile is now set up. You will be redirected to your new company profile where you can start adding staff and organizing your team’s schedule.
