Adding tasks to shifts and creating events are simple processes in the Snappy Staff app. Tasks can be added as notes to an employee’s shift or as events that are visible to all employees. Follow this guide to learn how to add tasks and events seamlessly.
Step 1: Navigate to the Rota Screen

Start by heading to the home screen and tapping on the “View Rota” option to access the rota management section.
Step 2: Adding an Event Visible to All
If you wish to add an event that is visible to all employees, follow these steps:

2.1 Access Additional Options
Click the “More …” button located at the bottom of the screen to view more options, and press the “Add Event” button.

2.2 Set Event Day
Choose and set the specific day for the event in the pop-up.

2.3 Create Event
Type in the title for the event in the provided field. Once completed, press “Create” to finalize the event creation, making it visible to all.
Step 3: Adding Notes to an Employee’s Shift
To add a note (task) to a specific employee’s shift, follow these steps:

3.1 Locate the Shift
Navigate to the specific shift of the employee to whom you want to add a note.

3.2 Expand Notes Section
Press the down arrow next to the shift details to expand the notes section.

3.3 Add Note
Type in the note detailing the task in the provided space. Once done, press “return” to save the note to the shift.
